CVC CAMERA KIT

The CVC Camera kit comprises a standard CVC Color Camera complete with a nominal 5.5” ( 13.97 cm ) color monitor, with custom wiring harness, powered by any of the three standard power sources provided with our FO- Series of Fiberscopes : NICAD battery – 25’ cigarette light cable – or AC/DC converter.

Camera: 420 line, 12 VDC, white balance, with integral focus 1¼ “ DIN mount, stored in the CT-30 kit or in the Fiberscope case. The integral adjustable focus permits adapting the camera to the varying focal length of different size Fiberscopes image bundles and borescopes.

Harness: Custom made wiring harness, permanent to the camera, permitting connection of the camera and monitor to the standard FO Series power sources.

Monitor: 5.5” Monitor in its own case, mounted into the CT-30 kit or Fiberscope transport case, Monitor has standard color, brightness and contrast controls. The monitor utilizes a durable TFT screen for robust field service. When required, the CT-30 case is opened, the monitor is flipped up, wiring harness connected. The monitor also has a video feed output for the users own video recorder.

Video Recorder is not included. The actual monitor supplied may vary if circumstance dictate.

The CVC Camera kit that we supply is 110v with USA Style plugs – therefore we supply a 220/110AC Converter with a standard 110 VAC short cable strip, into which the small power supplies and charger can be plugged.

OPERATION:
The CT-30 kit components including the fiberscope may be used in the normal Manner without impediment.

If a wide screen view of the Fiberscope image is desired, the CVC camera can be quickly and easily mounted to the fiberscope.

The integral camera wiring harness connects the camera, monitor and Hi-light handle together as a single assembly to the standard NICAD battery, the 25’ vehicle power cable, or, to the AC/DC Converter.

The Monitor in its own case can be removed from the CT-30 kit for convenient use with the Fiberscope at a remote inspection location.

The NICAD battery normally operates the Hi-Light handle for 1.5 hours. When the Camera and monitor are connected, the battery will operate the combination for approximately 1.3 hours

DIGITAL CAMERA ADAPTER (DCA) FOR FO SERIES FIBERSCOPES  (INCLUDED IN KIT)

We are now supplying a DCA in each CT30 kit and Fiberscope Kit at no additional cost, so that operators can take advantage of the Digital Cameras now available on the market.

Current advanced performance digital still and video cameras are provided with threaded filter rings on the lenses to permit mounting of filters for special effects. The filter ring threads also permit mounting other accessories to the camera, including fiberscopes.

The DCA snaps onto the eyepiece of our FO Series Fiberscopes and permits the mounting of suitable digital cameras, whether still or video, using the filter ring threads. The standard DCA thread size is 37 mm and we supply a 28 to 37 mm step up adapter with the DCA. Other sizes can be purchased if required.
