The Ultimate Non Conductive Fiberscope ( ULTNC ) has been specifically designed for applications where no metal can be exposed on the fiberscope shaft for electrical safety and to reduce the possibility of conduction.

The ULTNC - Sealed Non-Conductive Flexible Scope, 6 mm (.236 ins) diameter Flexible Fiberscope provides a high-resolution image of difficult to reach areas. Looks around corners and into dark, deep recesses without the need for costly, dangerous or time-consuming teardowns. May be used in environments which are hostile to traditional fiberscopes. Gasoline, Diesel, ship and aviation fuel safe. Optional features allow use of cameras, recording devices and monitors as well the insertion of a microphone at the distal end of the fiberscope or simple tools for detailed examination as well as use of an Infra Red Camera.

High grade optics produce very bright defect free images, while the intense Halogen light source delivers cool ample light while keeping all potentially spark igniting electrical components carried around the shoulder or on a waist belt, well away from the inspection zone, making this one of the safest fiberscopes to use. Also as the heavier components are carried on the body, the hands have only the lightweight viewer to hold.

The revolutionary (Patent Applied for) design allows for the replacement of the articulation control cables by the operator in the field with minimal down time greatly reducing repair costs should the articulation cables break. This is an exclusive feature to our product.

• ULTNC Special Configuration Fiberscope – the standard fiberscope may be replaced with our factory fitted special 6.5mm (0.255 “ ) Cable which has a working channel of 2.8mm and comes complete with choice of tools, microphone and has ability to clean the lens while in operation. Length of fiberscope and number of articulations to be selected.

• Various lengths from 1.0m ( 40”) to 3.0m (118 “) Custom lengths to special order 2 or 4-way articulation models available in 6 mm diameter (.236 ins) – a simple control adjusts the direction of view in either two or four directions, using a thumb control on the fiberscope body, The Articulation system permits smooth operation with outstanding range of motion and control, even when wearing gloves. Repair of the control wires is easily carried out in the field by the operator or for a nominal price at the factory.

• High Resolution 17,000 Fiber Imaging Bundle our high resolution results from the total number of fibers – Optical glass fibers relaying the image with each fiber forming one Pixel in the image viewed.

• Continuous light guide 1.37m (4.5ft) long – This high quality Light Guide provides superb illumination to the inspection zone. Light is transmitted through the glass fiber optics which are protected by a stainless steel coil.

• 24W Metal Arc Lamp Portable Illuminator, complete with 110/220v battery and charger Light output 9500 LUX ( measured at 2“ ( 50.80 mm) from distal tip using 6 mm 2 way x 60” long scope)
