The TD-13 is a general purpose fiberscope ( .312 in. – 7.9 mm Diameter ) Stainless Steel “Stay-put” construction. 10,000 fibers. Minimum bend radius 1.5 ins ( 38 cm ) Depth of Field .2 – 3 ins ( 5 – 75 mm ) 50 degree Field of View. Designed to be a valuable inspection device, ideal for use in searching vehicle dashboards and similar places. Especially designed to withstand the tough environments and rough handling when used for inspections, this unit has outstanding strength and ruggedness. With the portable 3W battery handle light source, this fiberscope becomes a self-contained, versatile inspection device to detect contraband, such as drugs or explosives, in hidden or normally inaccessible areas. One of the major advantages of this fiberscope is its use in applications that require an instrument to be resistant to being crushed, pulled, twisted and forced into and out of locations that would severely damage a conventional fiberscope.
