WHY DOES THE ARTICULATING TIP OF MOST FIBERSCOPES BREAK SO EASILY?

The Ultimate® Scope Articulation tip (Distal End) - Is designed to be crush resistant and extremely rugged. We do not experience the articulating wire damage at the tip that most other scopes do.

The Ultimate® scope’s articulation section is manufactured to our unique design using proprietary materials. It will withstand side impacts and not become permanently deformed. (See image of typical competitor’s damaged articulation section) Competitor’s articulation systems typically use thin metal rings “pivoting links” that do not withstand this side pressure and will permanently crush/deform. The Ultimate’s  articulation section is a non metal (non-conductive) design that is quite resistant to this type of damage.

This design will allow for an overall longer service life and combined with ease of repair by replacing the articulating wires and Image bundle, provides the customer with a much lower total ownership cost over the life of the scope.

ULTIMATE® FIBERSCOPE REPAIRS:

Articulating Wires:
The Ultimate Fiberscope® may easily be repaired by the end user should the articulating wire(s) become damaged ( the #1 damage to any manufacturers fiberscopes) Using the repair kit and Instruction DVD that comes with every fiberscope. This repair should take about one hour using simple tools that most workshops already have.

All other scope manufacturers require the scope returned to them and they then replace the whole probe at a cost of $3000/$4000. Our factory can also carry out this repair at a nominal price if preferred.

Image Bundle:
The image bundle can be replaced by the factory at about 30% of the cost of replacing the whole probe.
This is a factory only repair.

REPAIR BY REPLACEMENT PROGRAM:

If you return a qualifying fiberscope to us for “repair” we will send you as a “repair by replacement our “ Lightweight One Piece LED Field repairable Ultimate® Tungsten Braid Fiberscope of the same length and articulation at a discount. In this manner rather than paying several thousand dollars for a repair to a scope that has already failed, you can have a new repairable scope with advanced features. The scope will complete with all standard items including the wire repair kit with all tool required and instruction DVD.
